Japan's first museum of seal carving

This museum is housed in an antique storehouse, a national registered property, in Koga City's old town. The museum was Japan's first to present the art of tenkoku, or seal carving. Periodically, the museum's workshop space has a seal carving workshop for visitors (suspended in January 2022). The interior of the museum is well lit and beautifully restored, making it a great setting for the carved seals.
