Darumaya

Ramen, gyoza, and more at Niigata Station

If you're passing through Niigata Station and looking for a bite to eat, Darumaya is a convenient spot to get your fix of ramen, gyoza, and more. It is part of a chain, but I think the food is good and the prices aren't bad -- fairly on par with what I'd expect at most ramen places. Ordering is done via a vending machine system, so you will need to know at least some Japanese (or muddle your way through with Google Translate's image functionality!) The store isn't huge, so it does get a bit crowded at certain times of the day.
