Ogawaya is a company with a longstanding history in Niigata (dating back to the late 1800s!) and they specialize in foods with a local focus, such as trout and salmon. They have several stores, but this one at Niigata Station (within the CocoLo complex) gains some points for convenience, since it's easy to grab something while you're waiting on a train. The bento boxes get prominence at this branch, probably because they're the most practical thing to take away with you!
