Startling Edo and Tokyo contrasting views
This garden, one of four Edo era imperial gardens, is worth a visit if you need a break from dense crowds and concrete. Access is convenient as Hamamatsucho Station is steps away on the west side of the garden. The garden has a circular path, bridges across the pond, and hard landscaping with a lantern and artificial rock formations. The juxtaposition of a serene garden and modern Tokyo makes for interesting photos. The garden is open daily and admission is only 150 yen.
