Unicus Kawagoe

Small branch of the chain mall

When Kawagoe revamped the West side of the station a couple of new buildings were added just a short walk from the station. Unicus was one of them. Unicus is the name of a chain shopping mall. There are a few branches in Saitama, including another one in Kawagoe near Minami Furuya station. This one near Kawagoe station only has a handful of shops, restaurants and services. However, it is very convenient and the shops they have are useful, such as a Yaoko and a large 100 yen store. There are a couple of restaurants and a couple of fast food restaurants in the building too. They also have a yoga studio. The courtyard is shared with Westa Kawagoe, a cultural and event space with a reception area that is open to the public. Parking for both is charged.
