A slice of Europe in the Saga countryside

The Arita Porcelain Park really feels like a slice of Europe tucked away in the Japanese countryside. There was no admission fee to just go and look around the buildings, and it’s a cute place to snap a picture or two (and maybe fool your friends about where in the world you are!). There were a couple of exhibitions going on at the site which had paid entry, but we were predominantly there to check out the replica of Germany’s Zwinger Palace. If you enjoy pretty architecture and you’re in the Arita area, it’s worth checking out. Plenty of free parking is available at the site.
