Sendai Morning Market

Fun for a wander

The Sendai Morning Market is located in easy walking distance from Sendai Station (around 5 minutes on foot), and it's a really fun place to spend some time wandering around. There are stores selling fresh seafood, fruits and veggies, and more, but if you're not a local it's usually more practical to just eat at one of the restaurants in the market area rather than trying to lug some fish with you ;) A lot of the stores here seemed to be family run, which gave it a nice, hometown feel.
