Deep underground
The Toei-oedo line runs deep, especially on this section. As such, you have to use a lot of escalators and it takes time to get to the platform. The area around the station has long been a residential area, but it also has shopping streets. Furthermore, it is also home to several embassies including Australia, Austria, Jamaica, Singapore and Korea.

Served by Toei and Tokyo Metro
Azabujuban Station has lines from two different train operators running through it -- the Toei Oedo Line and the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. If you're an Australian citizen living in Japan and need to do admin at the Australian Embassy, this station is the closest one to the venue (about 5min on foot from exit 2).
