Iekei ramen shop, friendly service

I'm a lefty, so I'm always cautious about counter seating at ramen shops. The Yokohama Iekei staff were accommodating, letting me hang on for a seat on the far left of their spotlessly clean counter. I opted for tsukemen, adding spinach. For little me, the ramen, boiled egg, slice of chashu, and the heap of spinach were filling. The broth epitomizes iekei - tonkotsu and soy sauce. Loads of umami go with the al dente noodles. When I called out "Gochisosamadeshita" the chef gave me a big, bright smile. Nice folks!
