Mokuba is another of Niigata's fantastic bakeries, and one thing I love about this place is that they typically offer fun themed breads depending on the time of year -- for instance, around Christmas they had Santa-shaped breads, which is a hit with the kids! It's a little off the beaten path but if you're in the area by car it's not hard to access. On public transport it's about 10 minutes walk from Echigo-Ishiyama Station.
