The prefectural ice rink

When I first moved to Saitama the prefectural ice rink was practically on my doorstep, beside Kawagoeshi station. Unfortunately, it moved to Ageo so we don't go as regularly anymore. However, the location in Ageo is better for those coming by car, because there is room for parking, plenty of it, and its free (the parking that is!). There is a beginner's rink and they have lessons too. They usually have special light up around Christmas which adds to the atmosphere.
