Fukusuke Shokudo

Hearty but simple eats

Fukusuke Shokudo is a hearty but simple place to get a bit to eat, with set meals, noodles (udon and soba) and a variety of rice dishes to choose from. Most things are 1000 yen or under -- only a few menu items exceed that -- so I think it's pretty good value for money for a meal out. Portion sizes are large, too, which further helps support that cost effectiveness idea. They do take a break between their lunch and dinner sittings from 2pm-5pm, and they're closed on Tuesdays.
