Hurricane fries!

Hurricane or Tornado fries are all the rage in Kawagoe at the moment, and this is one place you can pick them up without having to queue. I don't know why Ohnaritei is rarely busy, maybe its the location - on Taisho Roman Street which is much less busy than the main tourist street (Ichibangai). The shop is best known for its squid on a stick, but that's not something I would ever eat! Like a lot of restaurants in Kawagoe, the food is designed for 'tabearuki', aka eating while walking.
