Conveniently located immigration office

An immigration officer in another city far from my home city kindly informed me that Matsudo City's Tokyo Immigration branch office opened in October of 2022. The office is located in the repurposed former Isetan department store building which is just outside Matsudo Station's west exit. The building, Kite Mite Matsudo, opens at 10 a.m. and I arrived on the dot, was received immediately, and my immigration paperwork was processed in less than 15 minutes. The officers are patient, clear in their instructions, and polite. This is the easiest, least stressful immigration office experience I've ever had. The office serves residents of Chiba and Ibaraki Prefectures.
