    Tropical-feeling botanical garden

Located about 20 minutes by car from the American Village area, the Southeast Botanical Gardens are lovely to check out if you appreciate flora with a more tropical feel. It is a little pricier to get into than some other gardens I've visited (adult pricing is just over 1500 yen), but there is quite a lot to see. I personally love the baobab trees that they have, but there are tons of palm trees as well. It's also fun because they have a lot of animals you can interact with, like guinea pigs, squirrel monkeys, and capybaras.
