Lake Towada Tourism Information Centre

Information center and small museum

The Lake Towada Tourism Information Centre is located on the square by the Yasumiya Harbor from where the sightseeing ferry goes. I imagine a lot of people mistake it for the ferry terminal, which is further away and somewhat concealed. You can pick up information for Lake Towada and Aomori prefecture here. On the second floor there is a very small museum with information about Lake Towada's famous "Statue of Maidens". The building is quite picturesque from the outside.
