Freshness is Bestest
Freshness Burger has been around for a while, and any long-term resident of Sendai knows where they can get a good, home-style burger at the station. Located on the first floor of Sendai Station, just down the hall from the post office and Starbucks, this shop offers 26 seats in the smoking section, 27 in the non-smoking. The menu changes a little but the standard classics are always available. It is little more expensive than McDonald's, but with the added options of hot dogs, beer, and onion rings, I don't mind spending a little extra. Also, the quality of the burgers is a significant improvement on that of the golden arches, at least in my opinion. With a more interesting drink selection, fun seasonal menu options, and a great location, it's easy to see why Freshness Burger has been keeping it fresh on the first floor for so long.
