Tasty bakery in Uonuma - try the apple pie cubes!

We stumbled across this bakery today when we were in the area doing a few other errands, and what a great little find it was. Peek-a-boo Bakery is located in an unassuming building next to a hair salon of all things, but it makes some super tasty baked treats. Our daughter had a mini melon pan that actually had a koala face on it - she demolished it, which definitely means it was a taste winner in her book. My husband and I tried their seasonal apple pie cubes - think your usual delicious buttery flaky pie pastry, shaped into a cube, with apple pie filling and custard. It was still warm, and it was out of this world good. The prices were very friendly too - if we got something like this when we were living in Tokyo it would have been far more expensive. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!
