Tokyo's only foreign cemetery
Aoyama Cemetery, opened in the 1870s, is the place of eternal rest for artists, politicians, scientists, and military personnel. Some famous names here are General Nogi (whose house is preserved at Nogi Shrine), Ichikawa Danjuro IX, and XI (kabuki actors). There is also a monument to Hachiko and the grave of his master. It's the only cemetery in Tokyo with a section for foreigners. You'll find graves of Europeans and North Americans who contributed to medicine, science, missionary work, and the arts in the Meiji and Taisho eras. The cemetery also retains many mature cherry and ginkgo trees, so the 26-hectare space is a nice place to stroll in different seasons.

Surprisingly beautiful spot to observe the seasons change
I don't know if reviewing a cemetery fits under the "facilities" umbrella, but I do think it's a unique spot to enjoy the seasons. Aoyama Cemetery is gorgeous during spring when the sakura are blooming, but it's still got a beautiful, peaceful tranquility at other times of the year. During summer it's lush and green, and I've also seen it dusted with snow several years ago.
