Kotokuji

Plan a visit in autumn if you can!

The Tama area has a lot of nice spots to enjoy autumn leaves, such as the very popular Showa Kinen Park. Another pleasant spot in the area is Kotokuji Temple in Akiruno, which is famous for a couple of large ginkgo trees on the grounds. I've only visited the temple during autumn and it was lovely, but I don't know that I'd go out of my way to stop by at other times of the year.
