Shirasawa Roadside Station

Roadside Station with hot spring and fruit picking!

Shirasawa Roadside Station is one of the larger roadside stations with lots of different facilities and services. It is in the apple picking area of Numata city and even has an apple picking orchard on site! Apart from apples, you can also pick grapes - in season. And there is a hot spring at the rest area too. They have a popular farmer's market. They offer all the usual facilities of a rest area: toilets, vending machines and smoking area. They even have a nice play area. This one has a dog run too. There is a look out tower on site too. The grounds are well kept. Parking is centered in one area so depending on what you are using you might have a bit of a walk to your destination. The parking lot can get very crowded at pique times such as camping and apple picking seasons.
