Daimon Nozon Hiroba

Community outdoor space

The Daimon Nozon Hiroba is a community outdoor area for locals to get some exercise. Its not quite a park, but very similar. There are tennis courts, a gate ball court, playground equipment, riverside barbecue area and a large field. The park is beside the Oppe River and you can climb down to the river, which is actually very clean in this area. The river is also very narrow and shallow making it suitable for wading in and river play. There is a stone river beach. Cherry blossoms grow along one side of the river and open space. There is a large car park, vending machines and toilets. We didn't use the tennis courts, so I don't know for sure, but it seemed to be a first come first served system.
