Minowada Lake Park

Good for social distancing!

The Minowada Lake Park is a very small park around a popular fishing lake. The fishing lake is currently closed due to the Saitama State of Emergency. But when it is open it has a regular customer base. While the lake is good for fishing (when it is open), I have to little to say about the park beside it. Although walking the circumference of the lake is pleasant enough. The woods though are unfortunately not maintained and very overgrown. Same with the little "park" area. It was the exact reason we visited it today. With the popular fishing lake being closed, as suspected, there were few other people around. We saw a handful of people walking their dogs, but no-one was using the open space. There are toilets, a vending machine and a car park. The park is open 24 hours.
