Old Public Hall of Hakodate

Simply gorgeous architecture

Hakodate is such a memorable city for me thanks to some of the gorgeous architecture there, and the Old Public Hall of Hakodate is just one example. The building has been closed for a few years now due to some ongoing renovation work (it's apparently slated to reopen in April this year, but that's still tentative), but it's fun just to admire it from the outside too. The western style design and the bright popping blue and yellow accents make it a standout on the Hakodate architectural scene.
