Shoe Repairs, Watch Battery Replacement, Smart Phone Screen Repairs, Key Copies, and more!

After seeing these shoe repair stalls in many stations throughout Tokyo, I finally had a reason to go to one myself. After searching for places to have my watch battery replaced, I was surprised that my search of Google indicated this was the closest place to have that done. Then, when I had trouble finding it, the staff at the Lumine Information counter also was surprised to find this Mister Minit also does watch repairs! Mister Minit's main business is shoe repair, specifically the soles, and women's heels. I have not used this service but several other customers came while I was waiting, put on the slippers provided, and handed over their shoes to be repaired. The shop I went to had two staff while I was there and nine chairs set up for people to wait in. In addition to the shoe service, and, at least at this place in Shinjuku station, the watch battery replacement, they also offer key copying, and smartphone screen replacement! The shop staff was friendly, and polite. They only spoke Japanese. The location, once I found it, was convenient because when done, I went through the very nearby JR ticket gate to head for my train home. With 113 branches throughout the 23 Tokyo Wards, and many more locations throughout Japan, you should be able to find a branch nearby. The website is here: https://www.minit.co.jp/ The shop finder page on the website is here: https://www.minit.co.jp/shopsearch/ *Both are in Japanese only.* Cost varies by service requested. My watch battery replacement was ¥1,500.
