A Café for dreamers
The ALL C's is situated in a shopping alley in Koenji, north from the station. It’s on the second floor of a building and the entrance looks almost like the entrance to a regular apartment. If not for the small sign board on the street, I’d have never found this place. The interior design is very cute. No chair looks alike and they have a lot of comfy sofas and cushions everywhere. One wall looks a bit like a gingerbread house and the overall atmosphere is like out of an “Alice in Wonderland” movie. If you want to order you ring a little bell instead of calling the waiter. The main dish menu is pretty standard for a Café, but the dessert menu is the main attraction here. All desserts are designed very cute and they also have seasonal parfaits from time to time, that are really huge. I had trouble finishing one alone without a prior main dish. The menu is available in English as well and one drink order is mandatory per person. I’ve been there several times on weekends and Friday evenings and never had to wait to get a seat. Prices are a little bit expensive compared to a regular Café but you are rewarded with a cuteness factor of 100%. As souvenirs, you can also buy really cute handmade icing cookies. They even offer courses where they teach you how to make them on reservation basis, but Japanese is definitely required. If you’re on a stroll through the shopping alleys of Koenji and need a quick break, it’s a really nice place to stop by.
