Alpine garden in Minamiuonuma

Alp no Sato is a beautiful alpine botanical garden in Minamiuonuma, and if you're ever in the area I highly recommend paying it a visit. The garden sits at an altitude of 1000 meters, and as a result there are a wide variety of unique alpine plants that only grow in those conditions. Wonderfully scenic and peaceful! To get there you need to take the Yuzawa Ropeway, which you can do from Echigo Yuzawa Station.
