Kagayaki Farm is a great place to stop into for farm-fresh produce if you're in the Niigata area, and since it's all grown locally it's very season-dependent as to what you can purchase here. For instance, corn is the big seller at the moment, and they also have other summertime goodies like edamame and watermelon. It's a first-in, best-dressed kind of setup, and when they're sold out, they close for the day. Because of that, getting there earlier in the day would be my recommendation! They are open from Tues-Sun from 8am until 1pm, but as mentioned they will close early if they've exhausted all their stock.
