Great spot for a special occasion date night

If you're living in the outer suburbs of Tokyo and you'd like somewhere special for a date night - but don't necessarily want to head all the way downtown - then Sakula in the Fussa area is a wonderful spot for great food and a pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine is French inspired, and you can get a course menu for 6500 yen per person - not the cheapest, but you do get many dishes and the presentation is beautiful. The 6500 yen includes several appetizers, a meat dish, a fish dish, desserts, and coffee/tea. Wine is an additional cost if you want to add some of that to your meal to further celebrate a special occasion. Their wine selection is extensive, with a line up of both French and Japanese specialties. The atmosphere is lovely, with every small detail though of - candles on the tables and all. Recommended if you're in the area and looking for something special.
