Teamlab Tea Time

A Fascinating Way to Have Tea

When you think of Teamlab, you think of colorful digital exhibitions, particularly the Teamlab Borederless and Planets. However, in a former soy sauce storage house in Okayama, you can experience a different spectacle. Teamlab Tea Time is a Teamlab exhibition in Okayama Prefecture that you could check out from April 15, 2021, to March 31, 2022. In here, you could enjoy a glowing cup of tea in peace, while gazing at the lamps floating on water. Among the Teamlab exhibitions I’ve seen, this one is my favorite. I liked the fact that it wasn’t crowded and we could just quietly enjoy a cup of tea. I also liked that a traditional structure was reused for this exhibition instead of constructing a new building.
