Jomine Park

Famed for its winter cherry blossoms

Jomine Park is one of the "three great winter cherry blossom" spots in Japan. The cherry blossoms bloom from the end of October until early December. They bloom in spurts rather than all at once, so you can see at least a few if you visit during that period. From mid November the autumn leaves are also vibrant. The autumn leaves and cherry blossom combination attract visitors from miles around. The park has some convenient facilities, such as a little restaurant, a shop, toilets and vending machines. Which is just as well as due to its location on the top of a mountain there is little else around!
