Bear Pond Espresso

Great coffee, just wish it opened earlier

Located about three minutes on foot from Shimokitazawa Station, Bear Pond Espresso is a great little coffee shop with quality brews. The focus here really is on coffee, and you'll find the usual list done very well - lattes, macchiatos, Americanos, and cappuccinos to name a handful. One downside though is that they don't open until quite late -- 10.30 am or 11 am depending on the day you visit. Typically I like to lay off caffeine after midday, and I really wish they'd open a little earlier in the day.
