Higashi Park

Nice flower displays during the year

Gosen's Higashi Park is a nice spot for flower displays at different times of the year, and if you are going to visit the May timeframe (around Golden Week) is usually nice for the peonies they have in abundance. At other times of year they have blooms like nanohana (underrated!) and lotus flowers, so basically any time you visit there's something to appreciate. Plenty of on-site parking (close to 300 vehicles) but it does get busy during peak times so just keep that in mind.
