Historic chestnut sweets specialty store
A visit to Obuse in Nagano is perfect if you're a chestnut lover because they're the town specialties, and I would highly recommend popping into Chikufudo if you're in the area. This chestnut sweets specialty store has been in operation since the late 1800s, and they have a nice lineup of goodies to choose from. The chestnut dorayaki in particular are amazing, and you can buy them individually or as a boxed set perfect for taking a few home or for gifting purposes.
