Onamuchi Shrine

Mystical, abandoned shrine

There is an amazing shrine in Ogawa Town that is incredibly abandoned. There is no information, that I can find, anywhere online for this shrine, except Google Maps. Google has it mapped, but it was only added very recently and only with the name and address, nothing more. This shrine has intrigued me for years. Because you have to wade through a river to get to it. Moreover, it is concealed in a forest up an old stone stairs (pictured) that must be hundreds of years old. Everything about this shrine is mystical and I hope one day I can find out more about it.
