Lots of katakuri blooming right now!
Just a follow on from my previous review, if you like katakuri (dogtooth violets) then now is a great time to visit Koide Park! The March/April timeframe is best for both katakuri and sakura here, and you can also enjoy the mountain scenery which is still snow-capped right now! A lovely nature spot.

A beautiful place to reflect on the beauty of the Uonuma area
Koide Park is a beautiful spot to visit if you’re seeking a tranquil park with some incredible views. The vistas out over the Uonuma area from here are nothing short of breathtaking, and depending on the time of year that you stop by there are often seasonal flowers in bloom as well. On the times I’ve visited here there have been barely any people there, either, so it really is a nice place to just be at one with nature.
