Amazing hidden chai gem~

Touring through Koenji and dropped into this chai stand almost completely by accident. The menu is simple and caters to both alcohol infused and traditional chai. Loved the flavor of the chai I ordered. I've become so accustomed to the super sweet and overpowering domestically produced chai, so Julay's chai stand was a welcome change; the spice profile was on point, and it was expertly made. The atmosphere is amazing, very chic and personal, and the staff were both welcoming and engaging. If you're stopping through Koenji, I recommend stopping in here for a quick break and some light conversation either before or after a pub crawl.
