    Chic and cozy Chinatown cafe

I find myself wandering around Yokohama's famous Chinatown, but not always in the mood for Chinese food. Sometimes, I'd rather just sit down at a nice cafe and enjoy myself. I had been struggling to find a place like that in the area, but wandering around one day led me to discover Chai Tea Cafe. From the outside, it looks almost like a jungle or rainforest themed restaurant. The ordering ticket machine is out in front so you can take your time deciding what to eat without worry. When you finish, hand the slip to the workers right next to the machine and wait for your order. Because most of the offerings don't need to be cooked (though a few drinks need to be made), it's quite fast. When you get your food, you can choose any seat you like. And trust me when I say that you'll want to look at both levels before deciding exactly where you want to sit. There are so many beautiful and different seating choices. When I went on a weekday afternoon, it wasn't crowded, so I could have the pick of the place. Naturally, I went straight for the hammock chairs. They have cozy nooks and regular seating if you aren't feeling as adventurous, or would like to get closer to your partner. I really want to come back, though my reason may be more to get nice Instagram shots than to eat the food. But don't get me wrong! The food and drink are both really tasty. They're just forgettable when compared to the interior.
