LGBTQ+ friendly temple performing same sex weddings

Saimyoji Temple in rural Kawagoe offers same sex weddings. It was only the second ever temple in all of Japan to openly promote and perform same sex weddings. And one of only a few temples that are LGBTQ+ friendly. The temple is located in the outskirts of Kawagoe away from the tourist district. But it attracts people from far and wide due to the commendable practices of the temple. Apart from being LGBTQ+ friendly, the priest at the temple is socially conscious. The temple has several events throughout the year to highlight social issues. The priest also works to serve the community in a way that temples in Japan rarely do. For example, he makes and delivers care packages for / to single mothers / fathers. The temple itself doesn't have much in the way of flora, but they have beautiful floral water fonts which are not just picturesque, but calming too.
