Innovative urban "third space" in Kashiwa

The concept for T-Site, opened in 2017, is to create a "third space", a home away from home. It certainly succeeds with both outdoor and indoor spaces that welcome families and dog owners. There is both outdoor seating and dog-friendly areas in and around the building. You'll find a dog park with an off-leash area just across the street. Besides the anchor shop Tsutaya is Boso Station, which showcases local products from all over Chiba Prefecture. Outside, the flood defense pond is innovative. The edges are planted with local flora, and the margins have seating and spaces to play. It's a lovely green area with a lot of outdoor seating for enjoying your coffee, watching the kids frolic, and letting your dog lounge.
