Imports Abound
I stopped in to check out Yamaya as I noticed people leaving with non-alcohol purchases. You can find huge gift wrapped bottles of sake. Yamaya is a fully stocked liquor store, including all the mix-ins, juice, soda, and drinking snacks that you might want. I found there's a nice selection of imported beers, some from San Francisco in the US or from Australia. There are also tons of imported packaged snacks and foods. I was excited about the low price for flavored black tea - and a huge selection. I picked up a variety box. There are also soups and canned foods, all kinds of gummy snacks, pastas, etc. The prices are really reasonable too. This is a chain store, so check it out (for the imported foods, at least) if there's one near you. The next time I host a drinking party... haha, Yamaya would be a great place to start. But seriously, there are lots of drinks that look interesting to try some day.
