Sunflower and Kochia Kingdom

Nice place to enjoy some outdoor beauty

The Sunflower and Kochia Kingdom is located at the APA Resort in Joetsu Myoko, and it's a pleasant place to check out if you're a fan of seasonal flowers. Sunflowers are one of my favorite blooms, and they have those in abundance. I visited a little too early for the kochia to be red, sadly, but that's some incentive for folks who may plan to visit later in the year. Admission is a little pricier than I'd like (800 yen for adults) but elementary aged students and below receive free admission so it evens out in that respect.
