Station with statue of Shimura Ken

Higashimurayama Station is operated by Seibu railway with the Seibu Shinjuku line, Kokubunji line and Seibu-Seibuen line. I was recently transferring at the station, which is easy to do, but wanted to see the Shimura Ken statue in person, so I went for a walk around the station before getting my next train. The statue is out the east side of the station. There are shops and restaurants out that side too. I was surprised by how little was on the West side of the station and how it looked more like suburban Saitama than Tokyo. They are currently doing some work on the station, so there are less entrances / exits than normal.
