Gateau Festa Harada is a patisserie in the Takasaki area of Gunma, and what makes it cool is that they also do on-site factory tours which are free. Their signature product is the Gateau rusk, which is a crispy, buttery baguette slice, but they also have seasonal and filled rusk versions plus cakes. At the moment one of the items they have on offer is a stollen rusk, inspired by the German Christmas favorite and filled with orange peel, raisins, nuts, and spices.
