El Torito

When you're missing Mexican-American Food....

I remember hating this restaurant while living in the States! However considering the location I decided to try it out and wasn't too disappointed. While it's not as spicy as the original, I definitely found the food to be good if not better than the US version. They have a wide selection of menu items and they range from 1000~2000+. If you're planning on getting fajitas with steak it will definitely be on the more expensive side. I had their enchilada plate and it was definitely filling enough though the portion was a little less than in the US. The other thing I noticed was they aren't very generous on refilling the chips and salsa! The location is in the Yokohama Sky Building so the view was pretty nice. It's probably better to visit for dinner and drinks but I think it is a little overpriced for the El Torito brand... If you're missing Mexican-American food, this is a good alternative to some of the more Japanese Mexican Restaurants but I'm not sure if I could say it's good enough to compare to back home :(
