Great Hawaiian Style Burgers in Sendai
Just across from the bus pool for Sendai station in the fairly new and fancy Parco 2 building is this fantastic little burger place. With a menu based on American classics with a Hawaiian twist, the restaurant offers a pretty spectacular dining experience, for a bit of a hefty price. This is not a middle-of-the-week scrounging-before-payday meal. This is an after-payday I-earned-the-right-to-be-full sort of meal. Fresh onion rings and fries as sides as well as a large number of customizable options can make the American abroad feel right at home. The atmosphere of the place is also quite nice and the service is on the nice side of standard. I recommend going for a weekday lunch if possible as the place is almost deserted at that time and can make you feel like you might be on the terrace of some fancy Hawaiian house, dining among the flowers instead of being just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Sendai station.
