Café Ron Ron - Sweets Go Round
In July a new Café opened in Harajuku offering something really unique: Sweets Go Round! Yes, you hear right. On a conveyor belt which usually transport sushi you can get several sweets on an all-you-can-eat basis. This includes small crêpés, roll cakes, pudding, jelly, dango and more. Most popular are small desserts with cat design which are very cute. And they even have some non-sweet-dishes such as potato salad, yakisoba bread and chips. Everything was very delicious and all dishes are worth instagram-posts. The all-you-can-eat takes 40 minutes. You have to pay 1,800 yen (get a discount of 100 yen when you add the café on LINE) and a paying machine at the entrance. The price also includes a drink. You can choose from warm and cold drinks prepared in a bottle. The café usually is quite crowded, so they hand out waiting numbers which allow you to come back on a certain time. Especially on weekends this can take a few hours.
