Now a lovely photo spot
I wrote a couple of years ago that this alley in Kawagoe was my least favorite. BUT in the last few months they've turned it into a nice photo spot, with colorful "wagasa" Japanese parasols. And right now, as its wind chime season, they have beautiful wind chimes up. They have colorful paper tissue in the chimes too, which makes them even more photogenic / beautiful.

My least favorite
Of all the alleys in Kawagoe, and there are lot, this is my least favorite. They did it up recently and it was actually nicer, more authentic, before they did up. The entrance way is nice though and the shops in the alley are okay too, but the overall look of the alley is below par.
