Sacred water and forest shrine
If you happen to pass through Nagareyama City, a lovely spot to take a breath in a little forest is Suwa Shrine, affectionately known as Osuwasama of Komagi area. The shrine was founded in the Heian era by a prince who brought a plaque from Suwa Shrine in Shinano. The shrine has remarkably clean sacred water that gushes from a spring. It's a lovely atmospheric spot where you can take a break.
