Sanrio Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro

For a quiet Hello Kitty shopping experience

I love this branch of the Sanrio shop, because despite being in the busy Tobu Department Store, in my experience its never that busy. It could because Google has it mapped as being on the first floor of the department store, where there is just a really small Hello Kitty stall. But this shop is actually on the seventh floor. They have a pretty decent selection of Sanrio goods including a large Hello Kitty section. They even had a lovely Hello Kitty statue, pictured, but it was behind hoarding the last time I visited. Hopefully its just getting a facelift and they aren't removing it!
