Kawakami Farm Cafe Kinoka is a really pleasant place to grab a bite to eat, and a big part of that comes from the tranquil countryside surroundings that it's located in. There are some interesting dishes on the menu, including several pastas (one made with perilla leaves) and a spicy curry, and you can get those dishes during their lunch period in a set for 1200 yen which comes with a salad, drink, and dessert. I think that's pretty decent value and on-par with most other cafes lunch deals. I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area because the atmosphere is really relaxing, and I think that's good for the soul!
